Chronic pain is pain that persists beyond two weeks. If the problem is not addressed, over time, the body compensates to alleviate this pain. This does not remove the problem.
The body develops new joint and movement patterns that can now cause greater issues. These faulty movement patterns create muscle imbalances and further joint dysfunctions resulting in chronic pain patterns. There is often an emotional component to chronic pain because of the long-term suffering.
Our treatment not only alleviates pain but improves one’s emotional outlook. As superficial problems are treated, the deeper core issues are revealed. Once these core issues are exposed and addressed patients experience newfound hope in the understanding that their chronic pain no longer poses limitations on their life.
