Chronic pain, chronic problems
I was convinced nothing could be done. I had been diagnosed with rheumatoid arthritis in the 1980s and then in 2003 was in a bad car accident that crushed my heel. I had so much trouble and pain walking that I resorted to using a wheelchair almost all the time, until a cortisone shot in my hip helped me walk a little.
At this point, my friend Ann told me to go to Sabrina, but I’d had physical therapy and was seeing expert doctors. The only reason I listened to Ann was that I trusted her judgment. You could also say that I was starting to feel desperate and hopeless.
Sabrina looked at my whole body, unlike the specialists and physical therapists who had seen me before.
She showed me how my body had gotten misaligned through the car accident and the awkward way I walked because of the pain. As she worked on me, the pain lessened and I began to be able to stand with weight on my injured foot without pain for the first time since the accident.
I’ve been so encouraged by the patience and perseverance that Sabrina has shown in working on the complex problems I’ve had. Continual pain had given me jaw and neck problems, and I’m amazed at the work she has done with that. Throughout I’ve had so much encouragement and prayer.
People who have known the difficulty I had in walking, are amazed at the way I get around these days. In the huge stores, I always had to use an electric cart to do my shopping. I never have to use one any more. I’m walking further and more often than I ever dreamed I’d be able to, sometimes up to a mile a day. Dynamics of Healing has been a true healing place for me.
